Stable Club

Ballochbroe Farm Stables is the home of Stable Club. A concept originally created by Catrina in the late 90’s, the regular sessions focus on both riding and horse care as well as providing a fun and safe learning environment. Children who attend Stable Club will learn all skills required to complete the A.B.R.S. Introductory Equitation and Stable Management Progress Tests.
Ballochbroe Farm Stables is only open to Stable Club members and their families and all activities and facilities are for Stable Club members only.

WE REGRET THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO SPACES AVAILABLE AT BALLOCHBROE FARM STABLES AS WE ARE A SMALL CENTRE. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR RIDING CENTRE CAREFULLY.

The Peer Helpers at Ballochbroe Farm Stables help to make sure the yard runs smoothly and know where everything is! They live in the Club Room and Kim and Aggie (Emma and Caitlyn) make sure the yard is always swept and there is no mud or poo anywhere!
All peer helpers are working towards their A.B.R.S. Helper's Certificates (With Emma, Caitlyn and Leon having passed Entry Level and working for Intermediate) and all are at least at Level D in their A.B.R.S. Exams. It wouldn't be the same without the helpers and Catrina is always keeping an eye out among Stable Club Members for future helpers.

	EMMA With her pony Barack—who has managed to escape his usual glitter for this photo!Emma has been with us since the first day and spends most of her time here. She has achieved lots of exam and riding success and has lots more to come in the future.
	CAITLYN With her best friend Prince. Caitlyn had never ridden before she came to Ballochbroe Farm Stables and this year alone has won many competitions here, including the trophy for the Helpers jumping league.
	LEON Despite getting taller by the second, Leon's favourite pony to ride is still Indi. We all have to pay attention at the Stables because Leon likes to test everyone on their knowledge—because he has lots!
